a million miles

We have a squirrel (grey) living near us... we have 3 bird feeders hanging from 7 foot posts on the fence.. that little squirrel must make a million miles a day... we laugh at him every morning... i timed him this morning, and it takes him 20 seconds to leave the feeder or the ground, along the fence, off the fence, drops the seed near the pine tree, and then back to the feeder.. he must be taking a nap as i haven't seen him for a bit...i am going to find where he is putting the seeds, i bet we will have a ton of sunflowers out there this next spring..if the llama doesn't eat them off..

We had supper and played cards last nite, i just love not having to cook supper... and of course tons of laughs and giggles..

Larry is off to the massage therapist today... he had to take the Jimmy for a wheel bearing, and wouldn't be finished in time to come back and pick me up... so i cx me and let him go by himself...he has been sleeping better so hope it is working for me...
It is our guild Christmas party next week... have to find a gift for a very special friend... i have to go to Kamloops on Thursday, so i hope i can find something very special for her...decided to make a Spinach salad for our pot luck lunch.. better get my act in gear and get this place cleaned up, my turn to host the card party... decided to have old family recipe ... meat pies... made 12 of them yesterday... had one each for supper last nite... nothing exciting, just hamburger with onion and garlic, and the gravy is made with Bisto gravy mix, put into a pastry crust..top and bottom... my Dad's very favorite... Mom used to make a pile of them for him when she went away... one time, that is all he ate the whole week she was gone...L and i just eat them with out spuds or veggies, but will have to make both for our guests, as the two other guys are very big eaters...and they need their veggies...
